The Ringling bros’ B&B Circus came about in 1906, but the story goes further back. In 1881 the Cooper and Bailey Circus and P.T. Barnum's Great Traveling Museum, Menagerie, Caravan, and Hippodrome merged together. They were both the top circuses at the time and it was decided they would better as one circus rather than competing. In 1906 The Ringling Brothers, having there own successful circus, purchased the other circus. Thus the Ringling bros’ B&B Circus came into being. The Ringling bros’ B&B Circus performs three main shows, namely Bellobratio (Red), The Circus of Dreams (Blue), and An Upside Down World (Gold). They are constantly changing and updating shows, so no city sees the same show twice. Performances are all over the U.S. and you can buy your tickets for New York, Arizona, Pennsylvania and even Nebraska.
